CANADIAN LAWN GUARDIAN/ Beneficial Nematodes (Kills Lawn Grubs) Latin name: Heterorhabditis bacteriophora and Steinernema Spp. Seen on CityLine June, 2010 Are skunks or raccoons digging up your lawn? The lower mainland In BC is considered a microclimate so if applying nematodes for chafer beetle in this area, the optimal application time is mid July to mid August.
